Betto van Waarden

Betto van Waarden is an Assistant Professor of History at Maastricht University. He specialises in the history of media and politics in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and has recently published the book Politicians and Mass Media in the Age of Empire (Cambridge University Press). His new research project investigates the history of truth in democracy.
